«Vyazma» drying machines as a complete package

Vyazma machine-building plant is the leader in terms of sales of laundry equipment in Russia. Since the beginning of 2014, the plant has updated configuration of «Vega» drying machines. These are modern machines with 10-50 kg load. They have a built-in fan, motor overload protection, CoolDown cold air purge mode for laundry workers not to burn their hands when removing dried laundry at the end of the drying machine cycle, and reverse drum rotation, ensuring the highest quality of laundry drying. All machines have lint-filters. The filter has a large area, easy to maintain and is equipped with a clogging alarm.

As to the rest, machines have a simple and reliable structure with a single reinforced support unit, a cantilevered drum and a radial purge. This design ensures a low noise level and, most importantly, a long operational life, partly owing to reliable Japanese bearings used in the products.

«Vega» drying machines have a convenient computer control with adjustable drying temperature from 1 to 99 degrees, free programming of the drying time from 1 to 99 minutes and 10 programs, configured by the user at his own discretion: for delicate drying of linen, drying before ironing, drying of various types of products: T-shirts, pillows, outerwear, etc. , as well as wool, cotton, terry fabrics and silk.

The signature moment of this series of machines is the moisture control system, or the residual moisture sensor as standard. It is installed in the flow after the drum and measures the moisture of the air passed through the laundry. This simplifies operation of these programs for the user a great deal. Volume and type of laundry, loaded into the machine, are of importance for drying over time, thus, the user has to choose the program number or reset the current one for a specific drying. 

In case of drying with a sensor, you just set the desired moisture level of laundry in the program, and the machine does everything automatically, thus energy is saved and drying time is reduced significantly, since once the moisture is at the set level, the machine stops operation immediately. Drying with a residual moisture sensor is very important in wet-cleaning process. You can not over dry laundry, and this machine is a must-have in such a situation.

Having improved the basic configuration of the machines, «Vyazma machine-building plant» JSC went farther towards expansion of the manufactured range of «Vega» drying machines. The only gap in this series was a drying machine with a 40 kg load. It's time to address the gap. Design service engineers developed and prepared for manufacture the first prototype of VS-40 drying machine with a 40 kg load, and production of the first machine of this model was completed recently. It is under tests currently. Like other «Vega» models, manufacture of two versions of this machine is planned: with electric and steam heating. It’s fair to say now that drying machines of «Vega» series are presented in full family of equipment with laundry loads of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50 kg. 

And counting. A heat recovery system (Fig. 1) was developed for «Vega» drying machines, reducing energy costs by 25%, due to the use of the warm air energy! This, in turn, increases really the economic and environmental performance of these machines, and is sure to be a big win for their commercial use. What the recovery system operation concept is like? Warm air exiting the drying machine comes to a special heat exchanger, where it heats the cold air from the outside. This saves energy for drying and increases its productivity.

All modifications and upgrades done by Vyazma machine-building plant are another step towards consumers. Affordable price, modern design and excellent functional performance are a good reason to pay attention to «Vyazma» drying machine.
