Increased attention to the domestic manufacturer supported not only the «traditional» factories that have been operating for a long time, but encouraged others to open new production facilities in different parts of our country as well, which is not always a positive factor unfortunately, since these «new- made manufacturers» are not for the long run and act under a principle of «snatching your piece» in a temporarily vacant niche. There is no question of quality of the equipment they supply. Lack of specialized production workshops and high-precision machines, and, most importantly, the necessary specialists with decades of experience, make impossible production of equipment of the necessary technological level. Declared parameters are very often not true in manufacturing companies with assembly from scratch. Test cycle is not complete or is missing at all, which does not allow to test and tune the design of the machine. Such machines can not extract laundry completely due to the very rigid suspension system of the drum, which in turn, causes strong vibration of the machine at small unbalance and even deformation of facings, made of very thin metal for the sake of saving. As a rule, such machines have obsolete, less informative and slow controllers, executing commands with a great delay, which creates extra problems for users. At the end, this is «one-time» equipment in fact due to its low maintainability, which operates until its first serious failure. Lack of due service makes it even worse. In the end, the only advantage they have is a lower price.

As for the laundry equipment of Chinese origin, it is manufactured by hundreds of industries, and only a few factories refer to the manufacturers of high-quality and reliable equipment of the European level. Our plant has been cooperating with one of these companies, Sea-Lion, for more than 15 years in terms of joint production and supply of dry cleaning machines, high-performance ironing calenders and finishing equipment. But they deliver more of cheap equipment of various little-known brands to the Russian market from the «eastern borders». Even distributors, receiving such Chinese machines, call hard names and say that «you're gonna weep just having a look at them». This is to describe the appearance only, then what can we say about the inside? For example, the declared electric motor power may turn to be twice as low as the real one. Drum volume in specification turns out to be less in fact. All this results in low productivity of laundry processing. The quality of execution is extremely unreliable. It got so bad that some units may have the loading door attached with the standard window hinges. Moreover, all this is worsened by the lack of spare parts, which are either impossible to find generally, or you have to wait a long time for their delivery from China. As a result, with minor saving, the user gets more pain in the neck than the benefits of such machines.
No wonder this equipment is called the one for tender procedures. Due to the low cost and parameters, adjusted as required by rogue suppliers, they fill the «budget-friendly» room in the market, leaving the customer alone with these crafts after the tendering procedure.
