«Vyazma» is a russian supplier of laundry and dry-cleaning equipment to south-east asia

Coronavirus pandemic caused serious effects on economy in South-East Asia as well as in other countries across the world. All restrictive measures, including the border closure, contributed to successful repel of the first pandemic wave on the one hand, and caused the decrease in the economic activity of the region on the other hand. Export and import restriction had an impact on trade opportunities of South-East Asia with other countries. Despite the complexity and against all circumstances, Vyazma machine-building plant carried out successful deliveries of laundry equipment to Vietnam, Thailand and Bangladesh in 2020 - beginning of 2021.

Asian market is a commercially attractive region, and business community sees South- East Asia as one of the most promising trading platforms. It is home to more than 649 million people, which is about 8% of the world's population. Demographic determinants, strategically advantageous geographical location and high economic capacity create favorable conditions for investment in the region.

Despite the large volume of imports to South - East Asia from China and South Korea, as well as activities of local producers, Russian companies remain attractive partners for the Asian market. A number of exhibition events are the evidence of the ASEAN countries policy of cooperation with Russia. They include the International Exhibition EXPO-RUSSIA VIETNAM, in which Vyazma machine-building plant took part in November 2019.

Hard work to find and perform preliminary negotiations with 15 potential buyers and suppliers of laundry equipment in Vietnam preceded the decision to present «Vyazma» machines at the exhibition in Hanoi. Meetings were held with the representatives of three companies.

In the frame of the exhibition, VMZ specialists not only communicated at the booth with the heads of companies, supplying equipment for hospitals and hotels in Hanoi, but also visited showrooms and offices of large companies, having branches in Middle and South Vietnam. All of them expressed their readiness for further cooperation with the plant, as well as also noted that «Vyazma» equipment, being a European brand, wins by a mile in price against competitors from other countries against equal functionality.

Along with Vietnamese companies, the plant started active cooperation with Thailand in 2019. One of the local companies, being in search of a reliable manufacturer, not presented on the Thai market, took an interest in purchase of «Vyazma» equipment. The managing director of the company from Thailand came to the plant for a meeting and preliminary discussions. The result of negotiations was conclusion of an agreement and a large procurement of washer-extractors and drying machines of medium load capacity.

The specified type of equipment was installed and successfully put into operation in several regions of Thailand in December 2020 – January 2021: in a private villa in Phetchaburi province, in a hotel in Chaam and in Surin Province.

According to P. Virankabur, the director of the Thai company ENG-THIRA CO., LTD, the key advantage of «Vyazma» equipment is a favorable cost/quality ratio:

At the beginning, many customers were cautious of the new company in Thailand market, the main reason for purchase was a comparably low price. However, after launch of the machines, users noted the high quality of laundry processing and easy handling of «Vyazma» equipment

Currently, the countries of South-East Asia experience accelerated economic growth, rise in living standards and increase of the population mobility indexes. Customers set high requirements to the quality and performance of laundry equipment, thus, consumers of the South- East Asia market are no longer satisfied with cheap Chinese machines. They are ready to pay for the european level equipment.

According to Thai and Vietnamese partners, «Vyazma» machines have more advantages compared to local brands as well. Reliability and quality of the machines, a modern model range, full optionality coming as standard without hidden charges, and easy serviceability acknowledge high competitiveness of «Vyazma» laundry equipment in the foreign market.

ENG-THIRA CO., LTD (Thailand) and TN VIET NAM PRODUCTION CO., LTDENG-THIRA CO., LTD (Vietnam) became official partners of Vyazma machine-building plant in their countries since 2021. The third container of «Vyazma» equipment is being prepared for delivery to Thailand at the moment. A company from Vietnam is also interested in re-purchasing high-capacity machines.

Our partners in South-East Asia ensure sustainable in-time equipment deliveries on customer-beneficial terms, as well as ongoing support of «Vyazma» brand at all transaction stages -from equipment choice by the qualified specialists and placing the order to delivery, installation and commissioning. The supplier provides warranty service for three years after machine putting to operation, as well as service support, including prompt settlement of all issues, arising during operation, within 24 hours.
