Sheet metal bending

Vyazemsky Machine Building Plant JSC offers metal bending services. Metal bending is carried out on specialized equipment - a sheet bending press of Bystronic Swiss company. The entire technological process of metal bending is a fully automated process. The use of technologies for laser cutting of metal and high-precision bending of sheet metal blanks makes it possible to abandon the use of dies in the production of a wide range of parts and to obtain high accuracy of linear dimensions and angles. In addition, metal bending makes it possible to obtain a monolithic jointless structure. Welding joints are a vulnerable spot, where the metal corrosion process is often active, and a violation of the integrity of the metal product occurs.

Sheet bending machines allow for complex spatial bending of metal sheets up to 3000 mm long and up to 5 mm thick. It is possible to bend a sheet with a thickness of 8 to 12 mm and a length of up to 1030 mm. The use of programmable 3-axis thrusts significantly speeds up the metal bending process maintaining high accuracy. The term for production setup and manufacturing a part according to the drawing is 1-3 days. If necessary, the Department of the Chief Technologist will consult you on technological changes in the drawings.
